Welcome

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to The 9th ESRII Conference.

The conference will take place in Porto, Portugal, and is hosted by Universidade Lusófona Porto, 9-11 October 2026. We invite researchers from Europe as well as all over the world to share their knowledge and experiences on using and developing Internet-based interventions.

There is no conference fee!

The aim of the conference is to contribute to the development and implementation of the best possible psychological interventions to help people in need. The ESRII meetings have a long tradition of short and informative presentations of new research. All in a non-hierarchical and friendly atmosphere with opportunities for valuable discussions.

Please note: The number of places at the conference is limited. Priority will be given to those who submit an abstract for presentation. As all abstracts are reviewed by the Scientific Committee, submitting an abstract does not guarantee acceptance. Participants who do not wish to present are welcome to register, but may be placed on a waiting list if the conference reaches full capacity.

The main conference program will cover two days, 10-11 October, while 9 October is initially planned as a welcoming day.

Guidelines for Presentations

All abstracts will be reviewed by two members of Scientific Committee. The committee will decide on their acceptance and the final type of presentation (oral or poster).

Oral presentations

• For oral presentations, presentations with empirical data are preferred.
• Presentation time for oral presentations will be 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion.

Poster presentations

• Posters must not exceed A0 dimensions (841 mm × 1189 mm) and must be in portrait (vertical) orientation.
• Posters must include a clear and visible title, along with the names of all authors and their affiliations, placed near the top. Use a large, easy-to-read font that is legible from a distance.

Q: What language will the conference be in?
A: The conference will be conducted in English.

Q: Can you write letters of invitation so that I can get a visa?
A: No, we are unable to provide letters of invitation for visa purposes. As this is a fee-free conference, we do not have an administrative staff capable of facilitating these requests.

Q: Can I get a proof of participation?
A: Unfortunately, we do not provide proof of participation documents. This is due to the lack of administrative staff since our conference is free of charge.
